ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Shaniya Douglas, and I'm a 21 year old studying Electronic Media and Film at Towson University. I was an intern on the independent film D.C. Noir in 2017, and was apart of Howard University's WHUT and Spotlight News Network crew. In 2020 I debuted my first short film titled Escape.
In my senior year of High School, I found my love for video editing through iMovie. I loved putting video clips together to tell a story visually. My interest blossomed into a passion for all-things videography. My aspiration is to be a videographer and/or editor for various music videos, concerts, TV shows and movie productions. I aim to write and direct my own original films too.

I have admired cinematic and aesthetically pleasing movies and music videos since I was young -- and I never would have thought I could turn something so cool into my career (and that day is coming)! I'm eager to continue to learn and challenge myself as I grow with my craft. I’m always looking for new and exciting projects, so if you have an idea and would like to collaborate with me, please get in touch!
Where do I go from here? Only up! 🎥💙
